Local painter, wants to help beautify Circleville

Interview with Dale Clay of D.A.C. Painting

Dale Clay, a local painter with 15 years of experience is looking to grow his business in Circleville. He said that experience in painting matters in regards to quality and professionalism. Some people think, “I can hold a brush; I’m a painter. It doesn’t quite work that way.” They might say, “He’s just a painter. Then they realize what I’m doing.”

Clay’s wife, Cheri, was born and raised in Circleville, and four years ago they moved back to her hometown. Clay said, “I have seriously grown to love this town, and I see so many historical places that are going to waste. I just want to be a part of bringing Circleville back.” He added, “I feel like I give a fair price for a professional service.”

Because of Clay’s experience and a touch of art background, he does more than just painting flat walls a solid color. He can do logos, more artistic work, patterns, faux finishes, and do things like cabinets and wood work. Early in his career he mentored under an experienced painter, so he treats it like a career, not just a way to make money.
