Game Day for Tigers Baseball

Circleville faces Wapakoneta in State Final Four.

In what is seen as an incredible run, Circleville’s baseball team will be playing in the OHSAA Division II State Semifinals. The Tigers are the first baseball team to reach the State Semifinals in Pickaway County history.

Today, Circleville (18-10), the Athens Regional Champions, will face off against Bowling Green Regional Champions, #1 Wapakoneta High School (23-1), from Wapakoneta, Ohio, at 4 p.m., at Huntington Park in Columbus, Ohio. You can follow the game with us! The winner of the Circleville Wapakoneta match-up will go on to play the winner of Chaminade Julienne (22-5) and Tallmadge (19-11), which is the 7 p.m. game. The State Championship game is scheduled for June 2, at 7 p.m., also at Huntington Park.

Circleville City Schools and the Circleville softball team invite fans to send the team off to Columbus. Onlookers can meet in the Circleville High School parking lots at noon for the 12:15 p.m. departure. Signs, cheers and Tiger pride are encouraged.
