Post 134 Falls Short of Title at West Virginia Tournament

Panthers earn #1 seed, then fall.

The Circleville American Legion Post 134 Panthers fell short at the Hillbilly Hardball Classic this past weekend. The Panthers went 4-1 and earned the #1 seed in divisional play before losing in the semifinals 10-12 to eventual champion Lexington Kentucky XPress.

The tournament was hosted by Elkins Post 39 in Elkins, WV. Since 1990, the tournament has hosted Legion posts from all over the country. This year, the tournament saw 30 participants from Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
