Same Place, Different Name

IHOP hints at name change.

Update: IHOP announced that the “b” will stand for burgers. This corresponds to the launching of their new hamburger menu.

IHOP, the iconic breakfast joint, may see their name make like a pancake and flip. In a twitter post on June 4, the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) announced that they are changing their name to IHOb. Though many are speculating the “b” stands for breakfast, IHOP says they will make an official announcement on Monday, June 11.

Almost a year ago, an IHOP Express was opened in Circleville. The IHOP Express is located at Love’s Travel Stop at 25727 Duroc St., near the new Sofidel plant off of U.S. 23. Will local residents see the “P” flip to a “b” soon? We will have to wait until Monday to find out for sure.
